SCDSB Secondary School Library Resources for Students

CIRCULATION OF RESOURCES
All students and staff at OSS may borrow resources from the Learning Commons.

Students may borrow a resource for a period of:
• 3 weeks for all fiction books
• 2 weeks for non-fiction books
• Students may sign out 4 books at any one time.

Overdue Books
Late return of resources results in a fine -  10 cents per day per resource -  until the resource is returned. The fine will continue to increase up to a maximum of $5.00 a resource.  Failure to return resources will result in the loss of the privilege to sign out books from the library.

Lost Resources
Students will be responsible for the replacement of the resource, or payment for a new or similar resource, if one is no longer in print.

Damaged Resources
Students will be responsible for the replacement of a resource, or payment of a fee, depending on the level of damage.
